This piece is a Happening—an interactive and improvisational event that examines how individual identity becomes obscured and dissolved in East Asian society. By printing participants' faces onto fabric and wrapping them around silicone balls, I invited them to kick these balls in a playful game. The physical motion distorts, shifts, and blurs the faces on the fabric, symbolizing how individuality fades under the pressures of social norms and collective conformity.
